An Order from the Antarctic.
Although we pride ourselves on being able to deliver speedily to all our customers (you can see the joke we played on Chris Davidson when he recently made an order from the Outer Hebrides) we were totally gobsmacked when we got an order from the ANTARCTIC.
In the end we didn’t have to test Fedex to the limit by trying to get the kite to the most desolate, cold and windy place on earth because the order came via the British Antarctic Survey at
For just a moment we tried to imagine how the hell they would fly a kite in those extreme weather conditions but Paul Dulson from the BAS approached us to get the right one for varying wind speeds.
Varying wind speeds; in the Antarctic; who are they kidding, but, apparently there are times when the wind drops a bit and the temperature comes right up to a very mild minus 10 degrees…so that’s ok then.
Our photographer wants to go and take a couple of pictures himself, but, sorry Terry, eleven thousand miles for a couple of shots …you must be joking.
